Paris will ban cars to 2024 Diesel and gasoline in 2030
Fossil fuels have an expiration date in France. Diesel car owners could only drive your vehicle until 2024 and petrol until 2030.
Each time is less for Parisians who own a car driven by diesel fuel have to change your vehicle by an electric or gasoline, although the latter would be bread today and hunger tomorrow. And the goal is that fossil fuel driven cars disappear from Paris at the end of the next decade.
The City of Paris, led by Anne Hidalgo has confirmed that vehicles Diesel will no longer circulate through the streets of the French capital in 2024 and that gasoline will do so in 2030. And the pollution is one of the biggest problems of the city, where half the days of the year the maximum recommendations of the European Union are exceeded emissions in the atmosphere.
The city is preparing for a slow conversion prioritizing the use of electric vehicles, peatonalizando downtown streets and and prohibit movement of vehicles over 17 years old, but hardly it reduced pollution. Some experts suggest that the exceptions for traffic restrictions are too lax and there are not enough drivers for fining who should not circulate.
France, serious pollution problem
They reside in France 66 million people and a total of 32 million vehicles are counted. This has led to one out of three people who died in one of the cities of our neighbors makes you breathe pollution every day. Therefore, at the national level also they have another plan to reduce pollution: in 2040 no French dealer may sell cars powered by fossil fuels.
