The Korean company has sold 11,000 units of Matiz, now comes the second generation.

The second generation of small Korean Daewoo house, the Matiz, just arrived in Spain. The new Matiz is available in Spanish dealers from November 27. The first generation of the minivan came to our country in October 1998, since then it has sold 11,000 units. Spanish customers have valued as sources of Daewoo Motor Iberia, aesthetics, safety, equipment and functionality of this small car.

The exterior design of the new model has changed a hood is incorporated with a rib-shaped "v" and new headlamps. The design, which has been made by the Ital Design, also presents changes in the back: new exhaust, different location of the registration plate and rear lights round. The interior, meanwhile, has received a small redesign, always giving priority, according to sources of the brand, functionality and passenger comfort.

The new Matiz retains its previous engine: a propeller with 796 cc displacement and 51 hp. The combined consumption of this car stands at 6.1 liters per 100 kilometers and in terms of performance, has a top speed of 144 kilometers per hour.

As standard features Korean small includes power steering, electric windows, central locking, immobilizer electronic and child safety lock. As for the standard equipment Daewoo offers the possibility of incorporating ABS, for 140,000 pesetas, 115,000 pesetas air conditioning, metallic paint for 20,000 pesetas and driver airbag for 70,000 pesetas. The guarantee model is 3 years or 100,000 kilometers. The price of the new Matiz is 1,220,000 pesetas.
