Renault Spain has presented its sporting plans for 2017. Much circuit and many rallies for its 49th consecutive season in competition.

One of the brands with more prominence in the landscape of motorsport in Spain is undoubtedly Renault. They are already 49 years in a row Brand betting on the diamond sports in Spain, especially looking bring motor sport to younger at affordable prices.

For this one 2017, it presents really interesting, they are four foci of attention which it puts Renault in Spain.

Renault Clio N5 for the National Asphalt

It is the novelty the sports program of the brand in Spain for this 2017. Renault Sport, as an official team will be in the CERA, the Championship of Spain Tarmac Rally. A provision of pentacampeón rally in Spain, Miguel Fuster, put a Renault Clio N5, counting on RMC Motorsport as coach of the car. It has 310 hp 1.6 petrol engine with four-wheel drive, weight 1,230 kg, 34mm Garrett turbo, racing differential, brakes AP 355mm EXE-TC dampers and 4-way.

The Renault Clio N5 Miguel Fuster will debut on Rally Ourense, in the fourth round of the National Asphalt to be held on June 9. After six rallies await you: Ferrol, Princess of Asturias, Villa de Llanes, Santander, La Nucia and Madrid-RACE for a total of seven tests.

Action in the rally It is complemented by two formulas. First, the Iberia Trophy Clio R3T at WAX, a classic already, will continue to have the Renault Clio R.S. 200 EDC for a total of six tests in Spain and Portugal: Rally Castelo Branco, Canary Islands, Ourense, Ferrol, Princess of Asturias and Madrid-RACE. There are six registered for the contest, two of which are from the Sandero Cup 2016. In addition, we must add the second edition of Trophy Clio R3T Canarias, Rally held in the Canary Islands (May 4) and the Rallye Villa de Adeje (May 12).

The champion will run with a Renault Clio R3T Rally in Madrid-RACE.

Circuits: Clio Cup

It is a tradition in the Spanish calendar engine: the Clio Cup circuit It is played again, with Renault Clio R.S. 200 EDC as great protagonist. Participants will enjoy 5 tests: Jerez (premiere May 27-28), Navarra, Valencia, Jarama and Montmeló. In the edition of 2017 there will be more prizes output and higher premiums. The final winner will also be able to run as official driver for Renault Sport in the 24 Hours of Dubai.
