Bollinger B1, and is the most “simple” electric SUV world
The US company will launch in 2019 its Bollinger Bollinger B1, the electric SUV that all draw as children.
Bollinger Motors is clear: they want to be the first to launch an all-electric SUV. Therefore, from 2019 it will have to buy your Bollinger B1, a 4×4 with a classic aesthetic where the biggest secret reside under the hood, with an electrical block that will be the most advanced in one of the most spartan vehicles which are to leave the market.
The Bollinger B1 reminds us of those years in which primary car designers we were on our desk, painting boxes with wheels in our imagination were spectacular off-road. It is designed exactly like this electric 4×4, as almost exclusive vehicle for use in the field without any concession to comfort.
Perhaps the only detail of comfort is given by its Hydropneumatic suspension system selflevelling to protect the most critical area of the car, low where batteries are included. Another thing that strikes us is that despite its image spartan (lacking space on the steering wheel for a simple airbarg), it has connections AUX, USB and Bluetooth.
Work in the field without polluting
The decision to produce this SUV with an electric motor seems to follow the maxim of the field work taking care of the environment. Therefore, it has two motors on each axle for a total of 365 hp give a top speed of 204 km / h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.5 seconds. According Bollinger, the estimated range B1 can range between 200 and 320 kilometers, depending on use and driving conditions.
To achieve this, the Bollinger B1 does not lose the perspective of what has been the reason for which it was designed. Therefore, try to reduce weight by all means, three watches, three luminous witnesses or sliding side windows. No air conditioning, no electric windows and almost no security measures, according to the interior and exterior of the vehicle.
