Questions: Do I lose my car warranty by installing parking sensors?

"Of the parking sensors I've seen that sell, I like Valeo nº5. Would do a workshop kind Norauto / Feuvert, which is much cheaper and would like to know If I can lose 3 year warranty. I understood that the revisions now marked by the manufacturer itself can be made in these workshops and no warranty is lost Not so with the assembly of these accessories?"

Response from our technical expert Luis Miguel Vitoria

Although one could producirte small initial savings, We do not recommend this installation in a chain outside the brand itself since in this case we are not talking about a maintenance or one repair, but a modification of a vehicle, something not explicitly laid down in Regulation 461 / 2010-. In your case, though it is a relatively simple modification it involves an electrical connection that could give arguments for not taking over the factory warranty that perhaps only after a dispute could give reason.
