According to sources of Renault in Spain, the affected units were manufactured before July 19 this year, mostly distributed in France. In our country they are affected more than 9,000 cars.
So far no faults have been detected by this decision, much less accidents. Renault is advising its customers through certified mail to come to an official vehicle workshop and subject to revision.
If found fault, all damaged parts are replaced free of charge.
Laguna II, a re-edition model of the same name, introduced just a year ago and started selling in Spain in March 2001 and since then is one of the great successes selling Renault, leader of the Spanish market. Today it has been known that ranked second in the award for European Car of the Year 2002.
